Ultramare Ltd. develops, manufactures, markets and sells ventilation filters protecting humans, processes and devices. Our target groups are mainly companies in the service sector, air handling unit manufacturers, real estate owners and the manufacturing industry.

Knowledge
The good thing about growing older is that with age come greater knowledge and more experience. Ultramare started its business in 1934 as a manufacturer and importer of jute bags before changing direction and since 1954 we fully focus on the manufacturing of ventilation filters. This means that we are the most experienced filter company in Sweden. We strive to find new solutions and develop new products well suited to a market that is constantly changing. Today we have a complete filter program in high quality synthetic and glass fiber materials, tested according to European standards.
Flexibility
Over the years in the business we have gathered much experience and we know how to meet the high demands regarding air cleaning. We possess invaluable knowledge that we are happy to share with others. We offer guidance on rebuilding projects and we also offer education on filter technology. This education takes place either at the client’s site or in our buildings.
Adjustability
Our size is our strength. Being a relatively small company we can easily adjust ourselves to your wishes, regardless of the size of your order. Our adjustability is the main reason our special products have become one of our strengths. All together we manufacture nearly 1500 different products of which about 100 products constitute the standard program. Thanks to our size and adjustability we can deliver products within a short period of time.

Environment
Since we manufacture air cleaning products it is obvious for us to have a well developed environmental policy. Otherwise our business concept would sound hollow and would not be trustworthy. We want to take responsibility for the environment at all levels. At Ultramare we strive to protect the environment through our products as well as by handling them with care, both inside and outside the company. Our objective is to be the leading company in the filter business regarding environmental issues. Environmental aspects will be taken into account in all our work and we will actively try to prevent pollution. Through education, experience and competence we will develop new methods and products that will help protect the environment. Existing laws and regulations will be followed. We are certified according to ISO 14001.
